Akihabara is the main electronics district of Tokyo...and there are bunch of stores and gadgets and noises to overwhelm you! Take the JR Yamanote line to Akihabara and head west out of the station, the north. You'll come across larger stores on the main north/south running street, but make sure to check out the smaller streets west of the main where small shops specialize in specific electronics, such as a whole shop selling various keyboards! You may be able to score a deal at one of the smaller shops, but overall there's not great bargains to be had.
