The Kyoto market is located in central Kyoto and spans 5 - 6 blocks on mainly one passage. Simply, there's a lot of tasty, relatively cheap food to try. We enjoyed it a lot.
After, the market meets up with a more modern mall where we saw a geisha (although hard to take pictures). Finally, we headed east to a small place (I forget the name) where we learned about tea ceremonies and made some tea.
